This will be a brief update since I have to get up at 2:30 tomorrow morning. I have another appointment in Charleston at 5:30 AM to get my esophagus stretched again. Hopefully, this will be the last time and I will then be able to eat and drink again without all the problems I have been having.
The procedure last week helped a lot and I have been able to swallow liquids and most soft foods all week. However, I did wake up with a horrible stomach ache on Saturday which gradually went away during the next few days. I hope I don't have a repeat performance of that!
I have been going to water aerobics on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and am gradually building up some endurance. However, I am still weak and need to build up my muscles.
I'll let you know how the procedure goes tomorrow--.
Here are a few pictures of some new flowers that are now blooming in my garden. The Rose of Sharon is just starting to bloom and the Daphne only has one flower but it is about five incl es across! Also note the figs on my fig tree.
