I'm back from Charleston and my procedure went well. My doctor doesn't think that my esophagus will require any more stretching and I can start eating normal foods tomorrow but only small servings. I am supposed to eat 5-6 times a day and that sounds like all I will be doing is eating all day! Today, I'm on a clear liquids diet so I don't get a stomach like I did last week.
I'm watching the College World Series as I type this and S. Carolina is beating Clemson 5-1 in the 8th inning. I hope that they can hang on and win this game! I've also been watching the World Cup, Wimbledon plus some NASCAR races and a little golf. Watching all these sports sure beats watching the oil spill in the Gulf or listening to Obama and the rest of the idiots in Washington! I hope I haven't stepped on any one's toes but it just makes me sick what is happening to this country.
That's enough for tonight. Here are a few more picture of my flowers and a picture of my "pine tree with a personality" and "the Buddha."
S. Carolina wins - 5 to 1!!!!
dad, turn off the TV and get up and move your body!

Hey Bernie- sounds like the stretching will work. Try some good old ice cream on the down days. I think you can master 6 meals a day....Bob
ReplyDeleteBernie, Eatting all day long sounds good to me. I do water aerobics on Saturday and it wears me out. I go home and take a nap. Glad to hear you are doing better. Keep up the good work. Adrianna
ReplyDeleteHey, you're sounding pretty good. Seems like you are making decent progress back to normality. Flowers looking good and I like the tree. Family resemblance? LOL.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work Bern.
