The doctor told Bernie he can probably go home tomorrow or Sunday. The occupational therapist worked with him today to do some simple things by himself. She told me not to help him unless he really needed it!! He was tired last night. He got his pain meds a little late and I think he ate more than he's been eating. Since his stomach is much smaller now, he can only eat a little at a time. He is very excited about going home. I'll keep this blog going if Bernie is not up to it to avoid a lot of telephone calls when Bernie may be resting. Thanks again for all the support. Terry
