Week Eight - Thursday

The stone flower beds I had installed in the back yard are now finished and I think they turned out very well. Now I have to finish cleaning up and add some flowers!

I also had the walls in front of my house repaired and a stone veneer applied to make them look like the flower beds in the back of the house. I should post some before and after photos but for now I will just settle for the pictures of the final walls and beds.

I'm still trying to figure out how to post things to this blog. Nothing seems to end up where I want it and I don't know how to edit the pictures. The first two pictures above are of the wall in front of my house and the second two are the flower bed in the back yard--just the reverse of my captions. Oh Well, I guess you get the idea.

I'm still not feeling too good but I am eating and gradually gaining a little weight. I really don't want to gain weight but the doctor said that I need to build up a reserve for when I have the operation. I guess it will be a lot harder to eat after the operation.

Looks like we have reached another weekend and it is supposed to be warm. I may take some pictures of the trees that are starting to bloom. It is really beautiful in South Carolina in the spring and I guess tomorrow is the first day of spring.
