This has been a week from hell! This afternoon I returned home from Charleston where I spent the last two days at the MUSC Cancer Center hospital. This was the second trip to Charleston this week!
My problems started Sunday evening when I was transported by ambulance to the hospital because I felt like I was having a heart attack. After I was stabilized, I was again transported by ambulance to the heart center at Richland Hospital for a bunch of test and a visit with my heart doctor on Monday morning. It was determined that I didn't have a heart attack but in the process they found a small spot on one of my lungs that was ruled out as the cause of my pain on Sunday night. Arrangements were then made for me to visit my surgeon in Charleston on Tuesday morning--
I will provide more details tomorrow but in the meantime I wanted to at least let everyone know that I am now back home and my heart and the stent in my esophagus are okay. I am feeling better but I am very weak.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear you had a rough week. You did have some better time before this. I know about being weak, I just went outside to pile some wood the dog knocked down and I didn't get very far and had to come to the hous in fear of a seizure. When do you have some time for a visit?
