I made cookies and peanut brittle yesterday for my 96 year old buddy, Frank Brown. Frank is recovering from a stroke. He gave us a scare but he seems to be on the mend now. His mind seems as sharp as ever! I will post a picture of him with his son, Frank, Jr., and my wife Terry.
I'm still having a lot of problems with nausea and loss of appetite. I also lost another pound and I'm beginning to get a little worried. My doctor said the could stretch the area where he joined what is left of my esophagus to my stomach but I hate to go through this procedure if I can help it.
We finally got the promise rain today and we may have gotten too much at one time. Downtown was flooded and my lake is up over the bank. However, we really needed the rain and I would rather have a lot vs. none at all.
I found out that I can reply to your comments right on my blog. Therefor, if you left me a comment, check back for a reply.
This will be a short blog tonight but I did want to post something. I'll close with picture of the kitten, Chicky. I hope y'all had a nice weekend.
Thanks, Bernie, you too.
