Week Eleven - Monday

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! Terry went out to an Easter lunch with two of our neighbors but I elected to stay home because I really wasn't up to it.

I took a few pictures that I will post including more pictures of the kitten, the dogwoods, Japanese maple, the azaleas that are just starting to open, etc. If you look closely, you will see some Easter eggs in a few of the pictures.

Columbia was the hottest spot in the nation today! It reached 91 degrees which broke the record. It has also been very dry. In fact, we are down over 5 inches from this time last year. It is supposed to rain on Thursday or Friday. Everything is covered with a yellow film of pollen and we need a lot of rain to wash everything away!

I visited some of my friends at the Drew Wellness Center swimming pool today. I have been taking water aerobics for over a year and have several good friends there that have been following my progress via this blog. I will be glad when I can continue with the aerobics. Meanwhile, I'm sorry I didn't get to see all the the regulars.

Well, in four more days, my operation will be over and the healing can begin. Thanks to everyone who have been sending me messages and calling.

  2. Dear Bernie,
You are in my thoughts and prayers especially this week. I love the pictures of the cats. they are so cute and the flowers in your yard are really so beautiful.
Please keep a healthy and happy attitude the best you can and know that we love you. We'll see you when we are back in Columbia in May.
    Much Love,
