Week Six - Wednesday

We are going back to Charleston tomorrow for my final chemo treatment. (I hope!) We plan to leave Columbia around 8:15 which should put us in Charleston by 10:15. I will then have blood work, meet with my doctor and then have about 4 hours of chemo. We will probably leave Charleston just in time to catch the rush hour traffic. Maybe we will stop for dinner along the way if I feel half way decent.

And then it will be r & r for about a month so I can get my body healthy again. The chemo and radiation are supposed to keep killing cancer cells for several weeks after the treatments stop so hopefully most of those little buggers are dead when I have my next round of tests.

I'm not sure if I will keep up this blog every day for the next month if there is nothing new to report. I notice that I am getting fewer and fewer comments and I guess that is because this blog is getting a little boring, even to me. However, the cats do keep things interesting----

I'll let you know how things work out tomorrow.

  1. Bernie--Your blog is not boring & neither are you... Haven't been able to post from work for some reason. I think it's blocked. But have been following you. You are really an inspiration to me and I'm sure, to others. Hope you're feeling well enough to play with your plants--that will surely make you feel better. Thank God the spring always comes after the winter. Love always. I miss you. Marie

Haven't had kittens for a few years, but they are wonderful.
