It's over the hump day for both this week and my 5 weeks of treatment. I had a bad night last night with a great deal of pain and difficulty swallowing. I was a little better this morning but I'm still hurting. Terry called the radiation oncologist and they asked me to come right over. They checked my vitals and then prescribed some medicine that I am supposed to take 4 time a day. Hope it helps. The care and efficiency at this place is really incredible. The doctors are always available and all you have to do is call and they see you immediately. And they are just across the street from the Hope Lodge!
Thanks for all the comments. Shelley, soup would be wonderful this weekend. I'm afraid I'm going to be on a soft food diet for some time.
It is still cold here but no rain today. I'm sure glad I'm not in Washington! Just think of all the money we are saving because the politicians can't get to their offices. However, they probably have many ways to spend our money remotely.

Bernie--Hope today's a better day. I'm very impressed with the care you're receiving. It probably makes an impossible situation doable.
