The radiation portion of my treatment is finished and we are now back in Columbia. I have to go back to Charleston on Thursday for my final chemo treatment and then I wait for a month and recuperate from the treatments. Then I will have some test to determine if the radiation and chemo worked to shrink the cancer. If that's the case, then I will face a very serious operation. If not, I'm not sure what will happen. It seems somewhat strange that I am looking forward to the operation!
Today has been another bad day but at least I'm home. We pick up the "furry childred" - as Tana calls the cats - tomorrow and I hope the kitten hasn't grown up since we last saw her.
I'm going to post a few more pictures of me and my radiation technicians. (Note that I haven't lost much weight.) I am also posting a picture of my radiation oncologist, Dr. Sharma, his resident, Dr. Cooper (with the bow tie) and their nurse, Kim. Terry made beautiful scarves for each member of the team!
