I have been able to eat a little better the last few days and am feeling somewhat better. I've also been getting out and managing to do a little more around the house.
Terry and her cousin, Karen, left for Fripp Island yesterday and are enjoying a yoga/macrobiotic retreat. They will be back next Friday. Meanwhile, Terry's good friend, Ann Marie, is staying at our house just in case I have any problems. Various other friend are also calling and checking on me in case I need anything. I am also trying visit my friend, Frank, on a regular basis. I usually go with another friend, Dottie.
I've been working on my pool and think it is about ready for swimming. I had a problem with algae but the water is now clearing up. I'm also ready to start doing water aerobics again and will go to the pool as soon as I'm comfortable driving.
I had dinner at my neighbor Becky's last night and today she took me to a book sale this morning. I found a few books but I got tired very quickly and started having pain in my back and stomach. I've been cutting back on the pain meds and I think I may have overdid it.
My flower beds are out of control. I have a lot of perennial plants that came up and everything is getting a little crowded. Of course, they world probable look a lot better if I spent some time pulling weeds but I haven't really been up to it. I will try to take some pictures tomorrow.
That's about it for now. I didn't get many comments on my last blog and that might be because I didn't have much to say---
Bernie you must be doing pretty good is Tery is leaving you "home alone", with all of the neighbor ladies around. Your message sounds like you're doing much better. Pain meds are good for you, stay on them. Thanks for your post.
