I bought a new camera tonight and am trying to figure out how to make it work. Not much has happened in the last 3 days. I've had a nurse in and apparently my vital signs are all good. She said I was doing extremely well considering it has only been 2 weeks since my surgery. I am still very sore and it hurts to move around; consequently, I'm not moving as much as I should. I presume that just makes the situation worse. I'm trying to manage the pain pills and this is somewhat difficult. I'm allow to take them every 4 hours and by the time the 4th hours arrives, I am really hurting. Then when I take the pain pill, it makes me very sleepy so again I'm not moving around and doing my breathing exercises as often as I should. I'm doing much better at night and usually don't take pain pills from about 10 pm and 6 or 7 am.
I sat in the yard a couple of afternoons this week which I enjoyed. The weather has been beautiful and the yard looks nice. We should get some rain tomorrow night which we need (especially to wash away some pollen).
I go back to the doctor on 5/11 to have the staples removed, have an xray and, hopefully, he will take me off the night feedings. By that time, I hope the pain has eased up and I've gotten myself in somewhat better shape.
Looking forward to getting my camera ready so I can post some pictures to the blog. Chicky continues to get into everything and makes the rounds several times during the night to see if everything is okay and to check if there is something she can get into. She woke Terry up one night because she was batting my eyeglasses across the floor. Charlotte is becoming more trusting and affectionate and is now joining Terry and I on the couch, but on her terms.
things sound pretty good. hope all continues to go well. keeping you in my prayers. will continue to follow the blog. assume Charlotte is a cat as dogs don't have too many terms as long as you have food !!!
