Week Three - Monday

I woke up this morning with a sore chest. I mentioned this before I had radiation and arrangements were made to see the doctor who is in charge of my radiation treatments. He sent me for x-rays to make sure I didn't have pneumonia. Everything checked out okey and he cleared me for chemo tomorrow. However, my chest still hurts.

Terry and I had lunch at our favorite little cafe down the street. I had a crab cake sandwitch that was about the size of a softball. Terry had a yellow fin tuna sandwitch. Then, of course, we had to have some sweets! Everything was wonderful and we are both gaining weight. This is what the doctor ordered since I will probably having trouble eating when further into my treatment. What an excuse to pig out!

I actually saw the sun today and it didn't rain. I read in the paper that we have had over 18 inches since December 1. We better start looking around for a boat!

A friend of mine from my water aerobics class called me Saturday and told me that his blatter cancer has come back with a vengence. He is 87 and doesen't think he can have surgery so he is going to have more chemo. If you don't mind, could you add him to your prayer list? His name is Nelson "Red" Emory and he is a great man.
Thanks!!

  2. Bernie, you don't need to by a boat. I have one for you when you need it. You can also have one of the Seadoos, if you don't go wide open. I know better than that.
